Welcome to online Elementary School!

PA Distance offers a personalized K-5 online elementary school experience with a blended learning environment. Our approach combines synchronous and asynchronous learning, along with extracurricular opportunities like after-school clubs. Our dedicated teachers, counselors, and support staff provide the personalized care each student needs to thrive. What does this blended learning look like?

Elementary Course Catalog

Blended Learning

Our students spend approximately 2.5 – 3.5 hours per day in scheduled Live Learning Sessions with their teachers and interacting with their classmates.

Our K-5 students will spend approximately 2 hours daily, outside their scheduled Live Learning sessions, working on asynchronous independent assignments.

Elementary School Programs

  • Zearn Math is used during both synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences. This researched-based resource is highly rated by edreports.org and allows for hands-on teaching and learning, with aligned digital lessons.

  • myWorld Interactive encourages students to explore their world, expand their thinking, and engage with social studies content.

  • myView Literacy was built to help you reach those light bulb moments. It allows you to teach integrated literacy grounded in the science of learning and inspires creativity to teach from your heart and be yourself. At the same time, it empowers your students to learn from the world around them as their stories begin to unfold.

  • Mystery Science offers open-and-go online video lessons that inspire kids to love science. Whether you have just 5-10 minutes in the day, or can devote an hour or more a week to teaching science, we make it easy for you to help children stay curious!

  • Mosa Mack Science is devoted to helping you move towards NGSS inquiry-based instruction with reliable, entertaining, and rigorous resources.
