PA Distance Chief Academic Officer Kelly Crooks Wins PCPCS Legacy Instruction Award
PA Distance Learning Charter School is proud to announce that Chief Academic Officer Kelly Crooks has been honored as a Legacy Awards Winner by the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS). Mrs. Crooks was presented with the Innovative Instruction Award at the 2025 PCPCS 20-year anniversary conference.
The PCPCS Innovative Instruction Award specifically recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional creativity in curriculum development or classroom engagement strategies. Mrs. Crooks’ dedication and innovative leadership in educational methodology have made a significant, lasting contribution to the school and the wider field of public charter education in Pennsylvania.
The Legacy Awards recognize exceptional individuals and organizations whose dedication and leadership have made a monumental impact on the charter school movement across the Commonwealth. Winners were celebrated October 19th at the 2025 PCPCS Conference, themed: “20 Years of Choice: Honoring Innovation, Celebrating Resilience, and Inspiring a Bright Future."
